Anxiety Specialist

‘Let me help you out of the anxiety maze.’

Anxiety can feel exhausting and confusing. Throughout my years of practice, I have come to understand that anxiety often responds best to a tailored approach—one that helps you understand how your brain and nervous system respond to stress, while giving you practical tools and strategies for lasting change.

Together, we can make sense of what is happening and find practical ways to help you move forward.

I specialise in therapy for people struggling with anxiety, stress, overwhelm and self-doubt.

My approach

Compassionate

Collaborative

Practical

My compassionate, down-to-earth approach combines CBT and Solution Focused Hypnotherapy. Drawing on insights from neuroscience, I can help you understand the connection between your mind and body, and explore how small, practical steps can make a meaningful difference in easing anxiety.

I also draw on ideas and techniques from compassion-focused therapy, parts work and guided imagery. These gentle, supportive approaches can help us explore your inner world, understand unhelpful patterns and beliefs, and move towards the future you want.

Learn practical tools and strategies:

I believe that good therapy is not only about easing the difficulties you are facing, but also about helping you build a more confident, calm and fulfilling future.

Client words

“In a relatively short space of time I’ve made changes to my life that will be with me forever. Some aspects of the process did challenge me (this was always kept manageable), but the overall process was enjoyable full of hope and positivity.”

Health Anxiety Client

“My whole life has changed. I am more self compassionate and look at life in a more positive light. I tell everyone who will listen how much you’ve changed my life. You put me at ease in every single session we had.”

Stress & Anxiety Client

“Fiona was straight talking and practical, which I needed…. She made me see I had stopped doing a lot of the things that I really enjoyed… With her help, I started to do the things I enjoy again and my mood picked up quickly. If she can help a cynic like me, she can help anyone!”

Stress & Worry Client

“I'm feeling so much better and now I have a toolkit of really practical things to help me when I need it. I understand why I feel anxious, I recognise it and I know how to help myself. I’m so grateful to be enjoying life again.”

Anxiety Client

“I honestly had the best experience receiving counselling from you. I truly will miss our sessions. You helped me through the toughest part of my life. You were patient and made me feel I could do it. You’ll be happy to know I’ve not had a panic attack since.”

PTSD & Panic Client

“I loved the parts work. It helped me understand my deep emotions. All the stuff I’ve done before feels superficial compared to this. I can’t thank you enough. I feel like I’ve got my life back. P.s I’ll miss our role plays – they helped me more than you’ll know!”

Social Anxiety Client

It is always a privilege to watch someone build their confidence, gain clarity and move forward towards a better future.
